How to Keep from Having White Spots when Your Braces Come Off
May 20,2007 00:00 by Happy

If you have braces, you may have many concerns. One of these may be the possibility of having white spots on your teeth after the braces come off. While it's not the best thing to think about, there are ways to help prevent it.

Steps

  1. Keep your teeth clean! Brush at least twice a day.
  2. Do your best to stay away from soda pop/anything carbonated.
  3. Make sure to brush your back molars. This is a common place for decalcification to appear.
  4. Try not to eat as much sugar. Excess sugar can facilitate decalcification.

Tips

  • Be as good to your teeth as possible. Brush!
  • Always floss, even thought it might hurt because it will help you in the long run!

Warnings

  • Stay away from candies and soda.
